Editor Steve Robertson was a normal, smart kid growing
up in a decent home in Simi Valley, but whatever potential he had went right out
the window when at an early age he was exposed to FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND,
the movies that it covered, and early Marvel comics with art by Jack Kirlby and
Steve Ditko. A voracious reader of horror fiction
to this day,
Steve's
first art purchase was a Ditko MISTER A story. He also has a particular fondness
for Simon and Kirby art and Marvel Monster art. He has never surfed, plays no
sport and drives a Mitsubishi sedan. Steve has seen a lot of art. Despite his
love for beer and the like, he keeps us on the straight and narrow.
